Six Bars/Clubs in Condesa, Mexico City to Get Lit on Your Next Trip

Updated: Feb 21, 2020

Mexico City is a place that has a great nightlife scene with cheap drinks, tasty food, and party vibes. With such a large variety of locations spanning such a large area, we had to investigate ourselves. With our recent stay being in Condesa, the locations in this post will all be in or around there. Our list includes a variety of venues with different music, price points, and vibes to accommodate any travel budget. Ps Each businesses’ social media link is available within its respective heading for more information.

Closed on Mon, Tues, and Wed

This nightclub has a very vibrant atmosphere, which is known for its great music overall (good mix of popular songs from Mexico and USA). Be careful they have been known to try and take advantage of tourists (charge foreigners extra). Prices are typically 100 pesos per guy, and free for girls. If you’re in a group of four or more people or planning a birthday event there, we recommend reservations from their website http://www.prinzeclubroma.com/.

Decently filled on an 8pm on Thurs

Google defines a gastropub as a hybrid pub and restaurant, notable for serving beer, wine and food. Drunkendog definitely fits this description. And although we only went for a few beers, the aroma from the kitchen was very nice. Come here for some casual pre-drinks solo or with people, especially to try some local beers. Drunkendog’s beer menu is definitely vast and has many craft and artisanal selections.

This little hole in the wall location would be easy to miss while walking if not for their eye-catching stand.

The drinks here are not cheap by Mexican standards, but you’ll come here for their small batch spirits, great cocktails, knowledgeable staff, friendly bartenders, and large wine list. The establishment itself is not very big, but there are a few outdoor tables which we sat at (weather permitting).

Deleted Souls is a relatively new cocktail bar that was formed late 2017. The entrance itself is not very noticeable or big for that matter so it might also be hard to find. However, as soon as you step into the dim room, the ambience and techno/house music from a dj flood your senses.

Look out for this!

Deleted Souls’ cocktails are very carefully hand-crafted and “presented” to you. Each drink has its own story with a unique presentation.

A single cocktail averages around 180 pesos, which if you factor in the presentation factor, isn’t a bad price. This cocktailtheque is a great spot to pregame before clubs as well as a first date.

What’s on Serge’s neck 😮

This locale is the newest and most modern drink destination on the list. Deleted Souls was OUR favorite spot for a single drink before going out in Condesa.

Fuck Off Room is another one of our favorites in Condesa. My favorite mixed drink I ever had was here (Corey Taylor for 150 pesos). We strongly recommend Corey Taylor or Freddy Mercury from the cocktail section and the Sykes shots.

Heavy neon vibes from the dark interior

Fuck Off Room plays American Rock (think fall out boy, sublime, etc.). Although a lot of the patrons were couples, it’s still a great singles place to start, or end, the night. If you’re into the goth/punk scene, you’ll definitely find some of that crowd here towards the end of the night with a lot of people smoking right outside.

Serge in his native habitat

After going to Eve Condesa ourselves and now looking at their website pictures, it definitely was a little underwhelming in terms of vibrancy and people. However, If you’re not ready to call it a night, head over because it sports a 5am closing time on weekends. This dance/night club has a dance floor in the center, with a full bar and tables across 700 sq meters. The tables are available for reservation generally for bigger groups. The music played will be primarily Reggaeton with a splash of pop and Mexican classics here and there.

The one and only

Although this pick is not a bar/club or in Condesa, we had to throw it in. Coyoacan is easily accessible with a 25 min Uber ride (Ubers are way cheaper than in the USA). We highly recommend checking out a traditional Mexican Cantina if you have not before. You can read about our full experience at this cantina here.
